Spa Etiquette

Last updated: September 8, 2025

To keep our Korean-style spa peaceful, clean, and welcoming for everyone, please follow the etiquette below. Thank you for helping us maintain a calm communal culture.

1) Respect for Communal Spaces

  • All guests must respect the communal spa culture and the privacy of others at all times.
  • Return all used items to proper places and keep shared areas tidy.

2) Quiet Culture

  • Please adhere to quiet signs throughout the facility.
  • Use whisper voices in relaxation zones, sleeping rooms, and near treatment corridors.
  • Limit speakerphone use anywhere; headphones only in lounge areas and at a low volume.

3) Phones, Cameras & Privacy

  • No cell phone usage in the locker and bathing areas to protect guest comfort and privacy.
  • No photography or video recording anywhere guests may reasonably expect privacy (including lounges and treatment corridors).
  • Phones must be on silent mode throughout the facility.
  • Paradise Spa & Sauna reserves the right to request inspection and temporarily hold recording devices if misuse or policy violations are reasonably suspected.

4) Bathhouse Etiquette (Showers, Swimwear, Footwear)

  • Please take a full shower before entering hot/cold baths, saunas, or steam rooms.
  • In gender-separated bathing areas, swimwear is not allowed (traditional Korean style). Loungewear is worn in co-ed zones.
  • Outside shoes are not permitted beyond the locker area. Use spa sandals where provided.
  • No shaving, hair dyeing, or personal exfoliation in communal areas.

5) Sauna & Steam Room Etiquette

  • Always sit or lie on a towel (sweat towel) on benches to keep surfaces clean.
  • Wipe any excess water from benches and floors after use.
  • Limit essential oils or fragrances—some guests are sensitive.
  • Hydrate often and exit immediately if you feel unwell.

6) Towels, Uniforms & Laundry

  • Return all towels and uniforms to the designated laundry bins after use. (Original rule)
  • Please do not remove towels, uniforms, or amenities from the premises.

7) Lounges & Seating Courtesy

  • Do not “save” loungers or seats for extended periods.
  • Keep voices low in relaxation and sleeping rooms; alarms and loud notifications are not allowed.

8) Courtesy to Staff & Guests

  • Please follow staff instructions for safety and cleanliness.
  • Public displays of affection should be minimal and respectful.
  • Report spills, breakage, or concerns to the front desk—thank you for helping us keep the spa pristine.

9) Policy Enforcement

To ensure comfort and privacy for all, policy violations may result in a service refusal or request to leave without refund. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.
